Terms of service

Last updated: [date]

Template. These terms are a starting point. Have a solicitor review them, and fill in the [bracketed] details, before you publish.

Using Spotter

By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, and give accurate information.

Not medical advice

Spotter provides fitness coaching, not medical advice. Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have an injury, a health condition or are pregnant or recently postnatal. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel unwell. You exercise at your own risk and should tell your coach about anything relevant to your health.

Plans and payment

Plans are billed monthly in pounds sterling at the price shown when you subscribe. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account, and the change takes effect [at the end of the current billing period]. [Refund terms.]

Sessions

Please reschedule or cancel sessions with reasonable notice. Sessions missed without notice [may count towards your monthly allowance].

Your account

Keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Do not misuse the service, harass coaches or other users, or share content that is unlawful or abusive. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Coaches

Coaches are qualified, insured professionals. They are responsible for the coaching they give. We do not guarantee any particular fitness result.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. [Have this section reviewed for your jurisdiction.]

Changes

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. Continuing to use Spotter means you accept the new terms.
